Biography

Clem Chambers is CEO of ADVFN (www.advfn.com), Europe's number one stocks and shares Web site. He became CEO of ADVFN in January of 2002 and is credited with steering the company from likely dot.com failure to thriving market leader.

Internet bible, Wired Magazine, for which he regularly contributes, described him as a 'Market Maven'. He is also a member of their renowned 'Brains Trust.' Clem wrote a stock column in Wired from 2000 to 2001 in a period spanning the final boom and following bust. He is a columnist for The Business, The Scotsman, Traders', Inside Edge and Active Trader; is a contributor to a number of UK and US financial publications and is a regular commentator for CNBC and the BBC.

He has participated in a number of government trade missions and was a special guest speaker at DTI's UK Commerce 1 event at Osaka and Tokyo in Japan.

In the coming months, Clem is looking forward to developing the site further and guiding ADVFN as it becomes a global platform for private investors.

He currently writes for: The Business, The Scotsman, Traders', Stocks and Commodities (US), SFO (US), Futures (US), Inside Edge and contributes regularly to publications including: Investors Chronicle and Money Observer.
