    Description of Private Banking

This book was written with three aims in mind: firstly to provide an authoritative overview of the industry today; secondly to highlight key issues and trends facing the industry; and thirdly, to explore the likely development of the industry over the next decade.

There are two distinctive parts to the book, the first covering international private banking and the second covering domestic private banking. It starts by looking at wealth and the key dynamics of wealth that are relevant to both international and domestic private banking. It goes on to review the international side of the industry and the geographical regions of Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. A global perspective of domestic private banking is provided with market studies of two of the leading domestic markets - the USA and the UK. The final chapter looks at the binding themes and future challenges for the industry as a whole.
