Professor Costas Th. Grammenos, the editor, is a leading academic who has held a chair in Shipping Trade and Finance at City University Cass Business School, London, since 1986. He is also President of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) and was awarded an OBE (Hon) in 1994 for his contribution to international shipping and finance.
