Description of What Warren Buffett Thinks 2006 |
This report provides a first hand account of proceedings at the annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway, held in Omaha, Nebraska over the weekend of May 6-7th. It is based on verbatim notes taken by a leading British professional investor who has been a shareholder in Berkshire Hathaway and followed Warren Buffett's fortunes for many years.
The report summarises the main themes of the marathon Q and A session with Buffett and his longstanding business partner Charlie Munger that have become a regular feature of Berkshire Hathaway's AGMs. This year's event was attended by 24,000 shareholders, equivalent to the attendance at a medium-sized soccer match in Britain.
Some brief observations from the editor, Jonathan Davis, are included at the end of the report.
