The Almanac is three books in one:
1. 2005 Financial diary
A) A 52-week, one week per page, diary
Each page of the diary includes key financial dates such as: important economic releases, derivative contract expiries, exchange holidays and company results expected that week. Results of a unique study are also given indicating the historic performance of the market for that week.
B) Articles
Each page of the diary is accompanied by a short article designed to inform and entertain. Topics include: seasonality analysis for days and months; momentum investing analysis for shares, sectors and market indices; analysis of performance of markets in General Election years; sector sensitivity to economic variables; rules from behavioural finance; and also the latest academic research on IPOs, share buy-backs, bid-offer spreads, and SAD investing.
