This is a step-by-step explanation of how money and trade management should and can be an integral part of every trader's trading system. The book also describes in detail seven well-known trading systems: how they work, trading parameters, techniques and analysis applied. Following on, there are three parts in which the author applies money and trade management techniques to each system. One part shows how the various types of stops should be applied in each system to make that trading system more effective by improving profit taking or reducing losses. The next part shows how to add filters - such as moving averages, breakouts, oscillators and time frames - to improve entry and exit points. Finally there is a part that covers the basic money management techniques - such as risking only a given percentage of your capital on any single trade - and gives a final comprehensive testing to each system combining all features discussed in the book. The book ends with sample portfolios that show how that portfolio works when a trading systems and money management are properly combined. The concepts in "Trading Systems and Money Management" are backed up by rigorous mathematics and illustrated with detailed examples and back-testing.
