Description of All New Guide to the Three-Point Reversal Method of Point and Figure

For many years 'The Three Box Reversal Method of Point & Figure Stock Market Trading' by A.W. Cohen was the basic guide for three box reversal point & figure trading. While a lot of concepts are still applicable, there has been such a big change in the markets over the years that the book has become outdated.

This new book modernizes the methodology used in the Cohen book by introducing lots of new techniques, some of which were developed by the late Earl Blumenthal and many of which are entirely new. Blumenthal, author of 'Chart for Profit', originated many concepts such as 'High Pole Formation' that were substantial improvements over the old methods.

Readers will find some things like chart construction exactly the same as in the two books mentioned above and they can skip over that section.

This book puts a lot of stress on relative strength analysis, use of trendlines and support and resistance areas. There are several new formations discussed with a lot of new terminology. Many actual recommendations made by Chartcraft are discussed and analyzed with a view to handling actual market situations. Supporting factors for point & figure techniques are also discussed in great detail with a view to reinforcing P & F decisions.
